ABOUT THE FILM

Hannah Smith, a young vlogger from England, travels to Naples to document the city for a video competition held in London. With her videographer Connor Jenkins, she rents a large apartment with a garden, found online, and begins filming.

The first night passes quietly, but on the second, Hannah starts noticing strange sensations and unexplained noises. As days go by, the atmosphere becomes harder to ignore.

While Connor tries to stay focused on the project, Hannah grows uneasy. She contacts the property owner to request a refund and move out, but is denied. With limited funds, they are forced to remain.

Their recordings shift from documenting the city to capturing what unfolds around them. As tension rises, their project loses shape. Hannah continues filming, unsure of what’s real, determined to understand what is happening.

"Inquietus" uses a mockumentary structure to explore how perception and reality can shift under pressure, where the footage becomes the only trace left behind.

Connor Jenkins (Connor) Connor Jenkins is a seasoned videographer whom Hannah hired through an online search to assist with filming her Italian adventure. With his technical expertise and professional demeanor, Connor initially remains skeptical of the bizarre events Hannah reports. However, as the supernatural phenomena intensify, Connor’s role becomes pivotal in documenting their terrifying experiences and revealing the truth behind the apartment’s dark history.

THE DIRECTOR AND PRODUCER

Leonard Rockberg collaborates with TV broadcasters, advertising agencies, and production companies across a range of genres. His passion for filmmaking and editing has evolved through hands-on experience, mastering techniques while working on TV series and film sets. Notably, he immersed himself in cinematic language while serving as a videomaker on a well-known Italian TV series.

As he progressed, Leonard took on the role of director for several short films, allowing him to explore his creativity and refine his skills. Additionally, he has contributed as an assistant director, editor, and production assistant, gaining valuable insights and a keen sensitivity to the craft.

Currently, Leonard is in the final stages of producing an original mockumentary that seamlessly blends real and supernatural events to create a narrative with significant social impact. This project represents an exciting fusion of his storytelling passion and technical expertise.
